GEODESIC SOUND - Multimedia Installation

Geodesic Sound is a partizipative multimedia installation which needs up to 5 persons to unfold it's pure beauty. The participants uses gestures to control ultrasonic sensors which affect the audiovisual output of the geodesic dome. If 5 users come together and each sensor is stimulated, full music and shining light will arise and upgrade the dome to a spectacular construct that brings together rather foreign people.

While the Dome itself was constructed by architecture Students (Ben Wessel), the concept and multimedia upgrade including the sounds and interfaces, were created by our team of Intermedia Designers from the university of applied sciences trier.

The "geodesic Sound" was exhibited at the Luminale Frankfurt in 2016 as well as several exhibitions in trier.
